Who are we?
Yamada Europe B.V. is a subsidiary of Yamada Corporation Japan and is based in Hengelo, The Netherlands. We are a world famous manufacturer of AODD pumps mainly for industrial usage for chemical, marine, oil & gas, printing, mining and many other applications. We serve the EMEA region through our distributors or direct to our major OEM customers. Yamada is an ambitious organization and preparing to take things to the next level. To facilitate this we would like to expand our sales force in several regions across the EMEA area.

What do we require from our Regional Sales Managers?

  • High level of intercultural competences;
  • Strong sales mentality, hunter and farmer;
  • Ambitious strong individual but also a team player;
  • Entrepreneurial;
  • German and English on a professional level;
  • Other languages are a plus;
  • Does not mind traveling, approx. 60% of your time;
  • Is patient and open-minded;


  • 3-5 years minimum of experience in international distribution sales
  • A bachelor studies level in education and functioning
  • Strong technical skills or at least technical affinity
  • Ability to build a long term relationship with your customers
  • Pump industry experience is a strong asset

As a Regional Sales Manager at Yamada Europe B.V. you will be responsible for the distribution sales and support of our Yamada products in your own international region. You develop, manage, assist and motivate your distributors and promote the sales of Yamada products. You have good communications skills to negotiate with your customer and translate their questions into actions needed to be taken by you and our back office. To be ahead of the customer you have the sense to know what they want, before they know it themselves. Because of the great variety of cultures that you will encounter, you must be able to act with cultural awareness, be tactful, able to think outside the box, this while never loosing our Yamada group philosophy, strategy and vision. You will work in a team of international Regional Sales Managers and report to the EMEA Sales Manager.
