50 Years of YAMADA Diaphragm Pumps

How it all began

In 1976, the first YAMADA AODD pump was launched. These pumps played an important role in the growth of industry in Japan. Soon after, the product range expanded. In 1979, YAMADA introduced the first complete line of AODD pumps in Asia, available in various sizes and materials.

Continuous improvement

YAMADA has never stood still. In 1981, a specialized pump for the semiconductor industry was developed. In the years that followed, key improvements were introduced, such as the redesigned NDP series in 1994 and sensor-controlled pumps in 1995.

Innovation continued in later years. This includes pumps designed for handling solids, as well as models optimized for specific operating conditions. In 2016, the Global Series was introduced, offering a strong balance between performance and price. In 2024, the NDP-500 series was launched: the most powerful 2-inch pump in its class.

Today, YAMADA has grown into a global brand:
